PNG padding stays transparent. The checkerboard is only a preview background.

The canvas preview shows the exported pixels, not Twitch's final display. Resizing cannot restore detail missing from a small source.

What size should a Twitch info panel image be?

Twitch's channel setup help currently describes an image up to 320 × 300 pixels and under 2.9 MB. Another Twitch help page for editing panels states 320 × 600 pixels and under 1 MB. Because those published limits differ, this tool offers two 320px-wide canvases no taller than 300px and flags files at or above 1 MB as a conservative check. Review the current upload dialog in Twitch before relying on any limit.

Resize a panel in three steps

1. Add your artwork

Upload a static PNG, JPG or WebP. A source at least 320px wide avoids enlargement on these presets.

2. Choose the framing

Fill keeps proportions and crops overflow; use the sliders to place the subject. Fit keeps the whole image, with transparent padding in PNG or a solid background in JPG.

3. Download and check

Review the actual dimensions and byte size below the button. Download, then upload the image in your Twitch channel's About panel editor and check it on desktop and mobile.

Keep a panel readable

Short headings and high contrast survive a narrow column better than small type. Place important text away from the edge in case Twitch's layout changes. A transparent PNG can blend with different channel themes; choose JPG when you want a predictable background.

Panel images are separate from Twitch emotes and subscriber badges. Those assets have square size ladders and their own upload rules.

Twitch panel questions

Is 320 × 100 an official Twitch panel size?

No. It is a compact design preset in this tool. Twitch's help pages discuss maximum image dimensions rather than requiring this exact short height.

Why does the tool warn at 1 MB?

Two Twitch help pages currently give different image limits: one says under 2.9 MB and another says under 1 MB. The warning uses the smaller value as a conservative check; it does not claim to predict Twitch's acceptance.

Can I resize a GIF or animated panel?

No. This tool accepts static PNG, JPG and WebP, and exports PNG or JPG. It rejects animated PNG and WebP instead of silently discarding animation.

Will an image be stretched or sharpened?

No stretching: both framing modes preserve proportions. An image smaller than the chosen canvas may be enlarged and look soft; the result shows a warning.

Does the image leave my device?

No. Decoding, previewing and export happen in this browser tab. The page may load ordinary analytics and fonts, but it does not upload your image for processing.
